| Customer Rating: | This book is an excellent tool for anyone wanting to study Zechariah.David Baron was born in Russia and raised in a Jewish family.He latered converted to Christianity.This author's background enabled him to look at Zechariah from a number of view-points.What makes this book so good is that he mentions differing views from a number of sages and higher critics,than details the faults or accuracies in whatever theory.
Zechariah prophesied of our Messiah and he gives Scripture reference to other O.T prophecies that tie together.The author also did an excellent job of showing how Zechariah relates to the book of Revelation.
Mr.Baron does a superb job of explaining the book of Zechariah while making it an easy read.The footnotes are very informative.Also included in this book are a General Index and Scripture Index which make this a great reference book. |
