| Customer Rating: | | My favorite cookbook. Especially, since I am now known for "my sunday gravy" and my family must have me make it. So if you want to impress your family and friends with "YOUR SUNDAY GRAVY", this is the book for you. Pass the love around. There are many other recipes that are delicious but this one hit the home run - go Marlins. |
Italian Made Easy

As a recent rabid fan of The Sopranos (in DVD courtesy Netflix) and being of a culture which like the Italians also worships food, fellowship, and Sunday dinner (Southern/Hispanic) a cook book would have to be exceptional to top my idea of 'eating," best described as Paula Deen does Tex Mex/Creole.
The Sopranos Family Cookbook is 'all that' and more.
Several of the recipes are now family staples, the Penne a la Vodka, the basic marinara and the Caesar salad.
The commentary by characters in the show is well-presented and will give you a good chuckle if you are a fan.
Excellent photography.
If you have ever heard the old adage, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, 'Carmela' and 'Adriana,' they understand.
Delightful for fans of the show and/or a great primer for Italian cuisine made simple -- and fun. |
