Buy this book! VERY helpful for nursing students.

This book does one thing: teaches you how to read EKGs.
Lucky for you, it also explains the reasoning behind the problems, how to tell where certain problems are coming from, which rhythms are deadly (or near deadly), and gives you many pages of example rhythms.
One of my favorite features is the ability to "tear" the EKG sheets at a perforated line, thus allowing you to compare sinus rhythms against each other.
I've never seen a better reference! Best of all, it's relatively small, so you can take it to your Med/Surg clinicals.
Seriously, the books is worth much more than the price!!

I was looking for a resource to make copies of ECG rhythms and thought this book might work. It was listed that it could make 200 possible rhythm strips but what you get is a strip that is half one rhythm and half another rhythm and these really didn't help our new graduate nurses.
Quick, Simple and worth the money

This book literally only takes a few hours to read and by the end, you will know what you're doing. It is a great refresher for those who may have forgotten a little along the way. I highly recommend it to anyone who is just learning or anyone who needs a quick review.
