Just a great book! Has EVERYTHING you need to know and is written in an easily digestible and humorous way - you'll find yourself laughing out loud!! Great factual advice from their first-hand knowledge. Excellent book and fast delivery. Buy with confidence!
Best Easy Reference Book for Kaua'i

This is a great book among a couple others available. I found it indispensable the first trip and still reference it and their web site every time I go. Have a great time!
Pretty good guide

This book is pretty good. I'm used to the Lonely Planet style of travel guides and this one is somewhat comparable. I actually think this book may possibly be even more useful if you were just moving to Kauai or spending more than a week there. We did end up finding all kinds of great spots including a really fun swimming hole with a rope swing due to this guide. I wish the accomodation information had been a little better especially concerning camping information, permits, and budget accomodations. Other than that it was really helpful and we used it often throughout our 10 day trip.

Going to Hawaii? This is your passport. I could not imaging my recent trip without it. Even though it may drive the people that you're traveling nuts, read it, highlight it, post-it it, quote it, live by it. That's seriously what we did with both the Kauai and Oahu guidebooks. His restaurant recommendations are dead on. We'd drive up to these somewhat hidden waterfalls and there would be three other cars with people grasping their blue books. If you want to see the best of Kauai, always know that your meal will be great, find places that are off the beaten track, have beaches all to yourself, snorkel with thousands of fish, take the best helicopter ride of your life, buy this book. I have friends who are getting ready to go to HI and they want to discuss my trip - well first I tell them that the blue books are required reading for any further conversations on HI travel. I cannot applaud him enough. I wish he could write a travel book for every vacation I wish to take. Plus, he is an extremely talented photographer - I enjoyed the photos very much. THE BEST!
