Atlas
I take my family on two road trips a year and I wouldn't be without this book. This is a must have if you drive outside your state or county.
Finally - the LARGE road Atlas
I searched all over all over time for this size Atlas. Not one bookstore or big box store carried it; they had all gone to the compact size. Sorry, but I wanted the Atlas with all of the cities, towns, and wide spots in the road. This is perfect!
Every Year Great Road Atlas
Rand McNally continues the winning tradition this nicely practical road atlas. Every year they provided an updated edition, with updated maps, a mileage and driving times table, etc. The book is large, light, and handy. For thirty years I've used this atlas for traveling, directions, and just to learn about the geography of the USA. Practical, affordable, and easily readable, even in a time when they say that half of U.S. adults cannot use a map. Even in this age of increasing GPS technology, Rand McNally sets the standard.
Good Atlas
Very informative and will go on the next family road trip with us. Easy to read, so the kids can follow along with where we are at any time.
Nothing beats Rand McNally
I purchased an off brand atlas at the store. I didn't realize how much smaller it was. That made the print so small, it was difficult to read. I returned it and came to Amazon for the Rand McNally atlas. It's a great way to work different routes with "scenic highways".
