J.R. Ward has become a true revelation to me. This seventh in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series is just as compelling and well written as the first six. Her characters and her empathetic treatment of them is utterly amazing. I would have never believed this genre would become a favorite, but I would have been SO wrong. As one of the other reviewers said, these are all books that the reader becomes obsessed with...turning the pages faster and faster while all the while hating the idea of the story coming to a logical end. Luckily, the second read of the series is usually just as satisfying.

All of these books are well worth the read. However, you do have to read them in order or be lost. They are very suspencefull & sexy.

The book was excellent, It was hard to put down. The sex was outstanding, hard to keep from druling. I have recommended this series to everyone I know.

I have enjoyed reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. They are fun, violent and sexy. After 7 books, things are a little predictable, but none-the-less I find them an excellent distraction and a fun read. If find myself anxious to get book 8, the next book of the series. If you like vampires and are not stuck on the way vampires are supposed to do things, you will find these books very entertaining.
Superb story line, lots of entertainment!

I have read every book in this series, and thought this was a great continuation to the plots involved. Ward does a phenomenal job developing the characters and explains situations down to the last detail. I love this series, and hope that she adds more!!!
