It's easy to feel stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed when your surroundings, schedule, and thoughts are chaotic. The solution? Inspiring, based on real-life experience

Rating: Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5

The book is well written, practical and easy to read!

The book is organized on the seven days of the week. Monday, organize one thing, Tuesday something else... and so on.

A clever strategy and it makes the book very readable.

The thing I liked about the writing was how Doland based everything on real-life experience.

An excellent, inspiring book for all of us who are 'clutter impaired'.

Jumped up and organized my closet!

I am a huge fan of Erin's website [...] and I was beside myself with excitement when I heard that she published a book. I read one chapter before I went to bed. I sprung up the next morning and organized my closet! Buy this book... I can't wait to read the rest of the book!

Read This Book First

Rating: Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5

I've read an embarrassing number of books on organizing and de-cluttering and this is the book I wish I'd read first.

When I read a book on this topic, I want a solution. I don't want to be entertained with silly jokes and I don't want a therapist to try to work through my issues with clutter. I'm not looking for an overly familiar, dear-friend type (in an author I've never met) to douse me with warm fuzzies while I get rid of my stuff. Most of the books I've read aren't bad, per se, but there's often quite a bit of fluff (clutter?) in the way of the message.

Erin Doland's book really is different. It's accessible and casual in tone, but to the point. She also acknowledges that different methods and systems work for different people. For each step along the way, she offers several approaches so you can choose the way that best fits your life and your style.

I was impressed by the way she manages to cover home clutter, work clutter and general life clutter. I came away from reading the book with a definite sense that I can actually do this -- and isn't that the point of this type of book anyway? Save yourself a lot of time and money and read this one first.

It's Great! (Now where did I put it...)

Practical, efficient, and clear, this book inspired me to take downsizing seriously, starting with cleaning out my closets. If any book can do that, it's worth buying. The office is next, just as soon as I can find the book again. Thank God that Erin also has a number of great online resources, since I haven't misplaced my laptop yet.

Excellent book about making your life simpler and more efficient.

Rating: Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5

I love a great book about de-cluttering and being more efficient, and this book is now one of my favorites. After just reading a chapter or two, I jumped up to tackle various moldering piles around my house and desk and to cross some long-delayed tasks off my to-do list.

It's clear, realistic, helpful -- and even funny. The checklists are particularly helpful, also the section on establishing good routines.
