Cute and Useful
I flipped through it. I love the packaging of this book. Adorable. I think this is very useful, especially if you are a busy grown-up. I'm a kid in college. Some of this information is useful and I am going to go through this book week by week. I think it is a good way to ease me into adulthood without the confusion!
I haven't really started on this, though. I am preoccupied with study habits and enrollment at the moment. :P
Organize this Life!
If you're looking to truly get your act together and get things done, I want to recommend one of my favorite new books, Organize Now!: A Week By Week Guide To Simplify Your Space And Your Life by author and blogger Jennifer Ford Berry. I've been loving Jennifer's book, as well as her super blog at Organize This Life! If you're looking for a book that will help you to systematically get things organized around your home, this one's a winner!
EASY AND THOROUGH
This book is amazing! I'm already pretty organized, so I found that I am already doing some of the suggestions, but there are also a lot of tips I didn't think of. This book is great for anyone - from the highly disorganized, to those of us who are compulsive about it. It provides an easy, structured format, but it is loose enough that you can pick and choose what will work for you.
Good ideas, but could use a better layout
Great idea to have a week-by-week plan, but didn't care for the layout.
Browse through it first--I found that many of the specific tasks on the list were either very basic (and didn't need to be written about in depth for every week), or didn't apply to that particular area, but YMMV. The section for notes was in a paragraph format, but could also have been in a blank fill-in checklist format for very short tasks. A removable plastic divider that you could write on and move from week to week would also be nice, and then you wouldn't have to write in the book.
3.5 stars.
