Easy to Follow/No Pressure Guidance
I recommend this book to young and old alike...apartment dwellers or home owners. The step-by-step suggestions are great for any stage that you find yourself in with making your home fit your personality and desires. An easy read; do-able suggestions. I plan to keep it to refer back to again and again. Thanks!
I like it
Its a simple book - very easy to read and skim through - and the effect on the way I think about my interior space was like a refreshing beam of sunlight through a window. It made me more aware of the design choices I make inside my house and the impact that these choices have on my life and happiness. I think its a great book for people that live in inner city apartments where space is minimal and activity is maximal. I recommend it and the website to my friends.
Insightful and Incredibly helpful
I'm reading many of the negative reviews and laughing to myself, seriously, the fact that the book has no pictures has you this upset? The main reason I get frustrated with how-to books with photos is because I'm always trying to re-create what is being shown in the photo...not really looking at what I have in my own space and realizing my own potential. This book makes you take a hard look at what you have and gives you step by step instructions on how to begin to edit your belongings. It will help not only de-clutter you home, but also your life. Highly recommended for people who want to get started, but don't know how.
This book saved me
Nothing new in this book. Things we already known but we just don't do. this book will help you step by step fix your apartment. It makes so happy.
As Good as I Expected!
This a great book and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who's a fan of [...] If you plan on doing the structured Apartment Therapy Cure it's a must, but even if you just want to follow along at your own pace it would be a great addition to your home. I really liked the combination of personal stories and anecdotes, detailed instructions for cure activities, and overall advice to improve the health of your home.
Each chapter is split into different tasks to improve the health of your home's 'heart', 'bones', 'breath', and 'head', which allows you to focus on a wide variety of home care including repairs, cleaning, organizing,
de-cluttering, re-thinking flow and use of space, and decorating. A wonderful, well-rounded, book.
