SummaryThis handy reference has step-by-step instructions for handling such first-aid situations as sprains, cuts, CPR, mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, and shock. Sturdy, water-resistant construction--including a spiral binding and plastic pages--makes this an ideal guide for storing in a pocketbook or backpack. Pretty Lame for the price
Only worth about $2. You are better off buying a real first aid manual and photocopying a few of the most important pages from it to stick in your first aid kit. This is almost a waste of space. I'm only putting it in my kit since I already have it, and on the off chance that I'm unconscious and a total moron is my only help.
A medical emergency reference book
If you need a reference book that has a brief introduction of first aid, Pocket Guide to Emergency First Aid is the one you might want.
very small and out of date
this little booklet is quite expensive for what you get. It is also REALLY out of date. It does not even recommend having someone chew an aspirin for suspected heart problems
Handy First Aid Guide
Although this first aid book is out of circulation right now, it is a really handy guide for the basics in emergency care. I especially like the laminated version with the spiral binding. The small size is handy for a first aid kit.
This is a great little book.
Good Idea, Dated Advice
This durable, well printed, and tabbed guide is handy for those who have studied emergency care before an actual emergency. Unfortunately, this guide contains some obsolete advice and needs to be updated.
