Several years ago, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I decided to go with conventional treatment, which in my case included a lumpectomy and 33 radiation treatments, but fortunately, no chemotherapy. However, I decided to look into alternative ways of improving my health as well.
I did alot of research and came across Dr. Quillen's book, "Beating Cancer with Nutrition". It explained in detail how various supplements worked in fighting cancer and I found it very educational and informative.
I discovered that Dr. Quillen had formulated a product called 'ImmunoPower' which contained all the supplements mentioned in his book. It would be very expensive to buy all these supplements separately and would also be inconvenient to swallow handfuls of pills. I decided to try "ImmunoPower".
I had been told that I would experience significant burning and peeling from the radiation and that I would also experience fatigue as the treatments continued. However, the burning and peeling were very minimal and then only began towards the very end of the treatments. I felt little discomfort and the minor burns that I had quickly healed when the treatments ended. I also experienced no fatigue at all and in fact felt more engergized than I had in a long time. Not only did "ImmunoPower" fight the cancer, but I feel that my health in general was benefited by it.
I strongly suggest to those who purchase Dr. Quillen's book, which by the way also includes some very good and nutrional recipes which are easy to fix, also consider trying "ImmunoPower". I have not found anything on the market which compares to it.

All cancer patients need to read this book! The executive summary is worth it alone. I always like books written by people with both academic credentials and real world experience and Quillin has both. When you have someone that has dealt with hundreds (maybe thousands) of patients, he has a chance to see what works and what does not... backed up with lots of studies and common sense. You can get a lot out of it just be browsing if too tired/stressed to read it all ... start with the 10 page executive summary in front. Good luck and God bless to all on this journey.

Dr. Quillin's book, Beating Cancer With Nutrition, was an enormous help to me while I was on chemotherapy battling cancer. His approach to complimenting today's medicine with diet and supplements in the war against this ugly disease is timely and works! I followed his approach to wellness by avoiding sugar and carbohydrates to assist in "starving off" the cancer. I had a tremendous response to the chemo, and was able to avoid a lot of the nasty side effects by taking the vitamins and minerals he suggested. This book is easy to read and Dr. Quillin offers a CD if one is too ill to physically sit and read. I would highly suggest this resource to anyone who wants to further their ablility to heal. The material is easily understood and makes sense! I have recommended Dr. Quillin's book to others, who have had the same, wonderful results while they were taking chemo and radiation.

The purpose of this email is firstly to thank you for writing "Beating Cancer with Nutrition". I am a prostate cancer survivor and have found that the material in your book along with much prayer has been my life saver. I elected not to have surgery and have had a reduced PSA for about 3 years. I can honestly say that cancer was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
And now for the second reason: As a result of my experience with cancer and the approach of trusting God and nutrition I have been frequently approached by folk who want to hear my story. I have always found it totally relevant to recommend your book and have had really good feedback about it and the CD. This has even carried to family overseas.
I am now at the stage where groups are asking that I would share a presentation to explain how the process of healing by nutrition works. I feel I should do this as there is just such a huge need for this information. So much of what you teach in your book is essential to what I need to say. I hope it is ok for me to quote from your book. I would in all cases suggest that folk purchase it as an ongoing reference source as they learn how to use the so very powerful tool of nutrition. I also wondered if it would be allowed to show some of your charts in a PowerPoint presentation.
I am very grateful for the testimony that I have of being cured of cancer and hope I can share this favorable experience with many other people.
My background is engineering and I have spent about 32 years in the food processing business. For many years it has amazed me how badly we destroy the foods that we process. So, I have in many ways an extra appreciation for making the most of foods as close to the natural state as possible.
