My mother taught me to knit as a child which I never followed up on.I rememer a few things but this book is a great help. My mom has passed on and every time I get in trouble with a stitch I feel as though she is there and then this book showes me the proper way to do this work. Thanks for the help!!
I'm a Beginner....

This book has helped me tremendously with some of the mysteries of knitting. I've tried to knit on and off for many years, and never quite "got it", other than some simple loom knitting projects. Teach Yourself Visually helped clear up some of my questions (not all of them) and a few videos on the internet helped buck up that learning. I've had good success trying out many of the stitches shown in the book, and have purchased some "snowflake" yarn to try the drop-stitch scarf to wear this winter. FINALLY, I can knit!
Great Reference Book for all knitters!

This book has a permanent spot in my knitting carry all bag.
I would highly recommend it for all levels of experience.
Also have the Crochet version and it is great as well.
Great for those who also have a teacher

This is a great book if you have someone else to ask questions. It's great for those who are visual learners and you'll definitely be able to complete more projects and learn more stitches. However, some of the images can be confusing, which is why it's good to have an expert you can speak to in order to clarify some of the illustrations.
Great knitting book for a beginner!

If you are a visual learner this is the book for you! The color photographs are clear, step-by-step instructions on how to do everything a novice knitter needs to know. This is also an excellent reference book in that it has examples of a wide variety of stitch patterns, techniques, etc. that you can grow into as your skills increase. I highly recommend this book!
