i've tended bar for over 6 years and found this book book to be a great reference. it's easy to find a recipe, it's well made for behind the bar and contains a nice mixture of classic and modern cocktails.

Has what you neeed

Purchased for my son, for bartending school and after, this has about every recipe you need. It's not a big book, which works well. You know, I thought I remembered that this was on a sort of ring binder, which made it even better as it would always lie flat. I hope I'm not wrong about that as it's been awhile since I purchased it, but I do remember being happy about that. If I'm wrong, sorry! :)

I love this book! It has SO many excellent recipes. I really like the way it is organized, and the index by ingredient makes it really easy to find what you are looking for. I also liked the informational tidbits about the measures...excellent info for a wannabe at-home bartender!! Would totally recommend this to anyone wanting a comprehensive recipe book!
it's not the newest editon, but it's still very good

There is a ninth edition out, but this one does just fine. has every drink out there, and is a great aid for mixing drinks at home or at a bar. good to have on hand. nice spiral side to keep pages open better
