I bought this as a gift for a retiring friend who I had always mentioned she needed to write a book of all the wonderful stories she had of her life experiences.
She loved it when she opened it and said it would be her first project.

My Dad kept telling me to put my name on items around his house that I wanted when he passes, this is so very hard for me as nothing would be a consolation prize for his passing. I want him forever and this book is the closest I will get. The questions are great and good therapy for the one writing in it, as my father pointed out. Asks questions from childhood, teenage years, college times, early adulthood, middle age, and retirement age. Would recommend it to everyone!

My former father-in-law is always sending me e-mails with stories of his childhood, his married life, growing up, as a working adult, etc. His stories are incredible. He is 70 years old and a difficult man to buy a present for. I found this book, was originally hesitant to spend so much $40.00 for a book I hadn't seen before. But I took a chance and it exceeded my expetations beyond imaginable. The book is VERY nice, gold lined pages, thick book and very thorough. I could hardly wait to give it to him. I inscribed a personal message in the front of the book and the book brought tears to my father-in-law's eyes. He is amazed and excited to begin filling it with his stories, memories. This is a great gift for the right person....you won't be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this as a retirement gift for my mother-in-law. Much bigger book than I thought - it will take a lifetime to fill out, but it is a wonderful gift to leave for generations to come.
